JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pinnacle Promotions, one of the nation’s fastest growing promotional marketing agencies, is in search of a Human Resources Director to build and implement our HR strategy. The HR Director will develop and implement the systems to build a professional service organization focused on recruiting, retaining and developing our current and future employees. This candidate will need to be a strong leader with excellent verbal and written communication skills. We currently employ approximately 60 people, and have been adding 3-5 new hires semi-annually.

Position Responsibilities (but not limited to):
* Develop an HR Strategy that directly ties into Pinnacle’s business goals and objectives.
* Promote, teach and safeguard the Pinnacle corporate culture and our Purpose, Mission, and Values.
*Serve as the liaison to all employees and management in order to provide answers around the employee handbook, corporate policies and procedures.
*Manage communication issues and conflict resolution between employees.
*Manage all benefits and PTO to ensure that we are providing the best benefits for our employees.
*Ensure all job descriptions are accurate and create a skills assessment and ratings system for each position.
*Proactively recruit top candidates and manage the initial screening and pre-interview process.
*Help to create and implement all performance reviews by department.
*Provide mentoring and coaching for employees that need personal and professional development.
*Work with our Executive Team to develop a leadership program to nurture our future leaders.
*Work with our managers to develop effective training programs by department.
*Manage our employee recognition program and work with marketing to develop our internal communications pieces.
*Help plan and coordinate team-building activities for the company.
Professional & Personal Qualifications:
*Bachelors Degree- preferably in Human Resources or Organizational Development.
*Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience with at least three years of management experience.
*Prefer SPHR or PHR certification.
*Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law.
*Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
*Confident decision-maker with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, coaching and problem resolution skills.
*Strong computer skills, primarily in MS Office.

The candidate must have professional production experience with a strong portfolio. The candidate must be a team player, highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. Organize product resources, including images, clipart and stock photos

Remove logos from product photos to provide a blank product image

Skills and Experience Requirements

Prior experience as a graphic designer preferred

Portfolio demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles, current design trends and effectiveness; online portfolio preferred

Moderate proficiency in Illustrator CS5, Photoshop CS5, InDesign CS5, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office

- Accurate step-by-step completion and follow through of all assigned open order objectives, from confirmation to delivery.
- Assist Account Manager in various tasks related to sales, such as product sourcing, idea generation, client development, quotes.
- Thorough and daily communication with vendors and Account Managers to ensure open orders proceed and deliver as scheduled.
- Disciplined completion of daily and weekly order reports.
- Ability to navigate client and answer questions regarding products and services on company website.
- Creating, purchasing and tracking sample orders.
- Active participation in weekly team meetings and training sessions.

- Develop web applications that are secure and adhere to all current standards
- Manage multiple projects and responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Support internal staff with any computer related issues

Professional & Personal Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Mac software and the OS X server environment, Unix experience preferred
- A minimum of 2+ years working with Web Servers (the typical LAMP stack)
- A minimum of 2+ years working with Shell Scripting; basic command-line knowledge
- A minimum of 2+ years of web application development using object oriented PHP and mySQL
- A minimum of 2+ years experience with the following: Javascript, XHTML, and CSS
- Experience with the MVC design pattern preferred
- Experience with PHP frameworks: Codeigniter, Zend preferred
- Experience with Javascript frameworks: JQuery, Prototype preferred
- Comfortable in an all Macintosh environment
- Web design skills, a plus.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
