Promotional Items for National Hot Dog Month

« All Events
Monday, July 1st, 2013 thru Wednesday, July 31st, 2013

Whether you prefer yours covered with ketchup, relish and chili, or simply garnished with mustard, the hot dog is a popular entrée across the entire country. Americans eat an average of 60 hot dogs each, every year, with over 155 million consumed each 4th of July weekend alone – the biggest hot dog holiday of the year. So it comes as no surprise that the month of July is dedicated to these little “meat” products. Yes, July is National Hot Dog Month.

Sausages are one of the oldest processed foods, dating back to the 9th century B.C. The exact origin of the hot dog style of sausage however is greatly debatable, though the most prominent claims credit Germany with the creation of this food, originally termed the “dachshund” sausage, thus linking the word “dog” to this popular fare. Check out the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council website for some more interesting hot dog history facts and trivia.

You can take advantage of National Hot Dog Month by marketing your brand with hot dog-related promotional products! Imprint your company name and logo on a hot dog stress reliever for a great giveaway. Or show appreciation to valued employees or customers with one of our great gift baskets that includes delicious beef summer sausage!
