Thursday, August 1st, 2013 thru Saturday, August 31st, 2013
According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, many sight threatening disorders can be prevented or slowed if detected early. Since August has been nationally designated as National Eye Exam Month, it’s a perfect time to promote eye health. In addition to advocating for employees and clients to have their eyes checked, you should encourage eye safety at the computer and help employees avoid eye strain by minimizing office glare and keeping computer screen’s dust-free. One great way to keep computers clean is to wipe them with micro fiber eyeglass cleaning cloths, which also keep glasses spotless and scratch-free. To encourage eye health outside of the office, give employees and clients custom imprinted sunglass cases and caps to shield their eyes from the hot August sun. And, since January is National Eye Health Care Month, employees and clients will appreciate these promotional gifts year-round.
