It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…. Aviation Day! Aviation Day honors the creation of aviation, defined by Merriam-Webster as "the operation of heavier-than-air-aircraft." From commercial flights to military jets, aviation has facilitated globalization and changed the way the world communicates. And don’t forget the influence that aviation has had in the fashion world, including leather bomber jackets and aviator sunglasses.
In honor of the aviation industry, consider distributing travel accessories to make business trips easier for clients and employees. Flags and banners also make great giveaways because ever since 1939 when Franklin Delano Roosevelt declared this national holiday, the president has the authority to demand that the U.S. flag is flown every August 19.
