Tour Downtown Denver
Begin the downtown visit at the State Capitol, which is located at 200 F. Colfax Avenue, near the Washington Park and Cherry Creek neighborhoods. This activity is great for people who are trying to maintain a budget, as they offer free, guided tours on Mondays through Fridays. While at the Capitol building, you can also visit the Colorado General Assembly Chambers, where the Colorado state legislature regularly holds their sessions. After becoming knowledgeable about the Colorado state governance, visitors can learn about money printing by heading to the nearby United States Mint. Visitors should only bring a very small, folded wallet or change purse, as many items such as lip balms, hand lotions and even backpacks are not allowed inside the Mint.
Denver for the Food and Beverage Industry
In order to attract the attention of hungry patrons leaving downtown, restaurants located in Washington Park and Greenwood Village should give away imprinted products. From coasters and Koozies for patrons, to aprons and apparel for employees, these giveaways create an inviting ambience. Visitors can find almost 100 brewpubs, restaurants and rooftop cages located in the LoDo Historic District, located within walking distance of the aforementioned buildings and tours. In addition to eating outside, Denver residents and visitors can participate in many outdoor activities ranging from hiking and playing Frisbee in City Park or visiting the beloved Denver Zoo.
Denver for Skiing
During the winter months, ski resorts can distribute Denver themed items to attract visitors to these great Rocky Mountain skiing locations. Popular ski resorts in or around Denver include: the Winter Park Ski Resort, the Loveland Ski Resort, and the Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort & Eldora Mountain Resort, which is closer to Boulder. Loveland Ski Resort is located off of Highway 6 in nearby Georgetown, Colorado. Georgetown, which is located about an hours drive away from Denver, is a beautiful mining community that is known for it's many Victorian buildings, miles of railroad, and of course for having some of the areas best skiing in the winter. In order to prepare visitors for their ski trips to Georgetown and Boulder, companies in the tourism and hospitality industry should consider distributing products ranging from outdoor apparel to lip balm with SPF.
