Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival

Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival

Yaarab Shrine Center.  Friday, 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.; Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  $20 for the entire weekend for festival participants; $5 for Saturday night Cabaret; free for spectating other events.

Whether you want to show off your juggling skills or you just want to watch others, the 35th Annual Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival is sure to be a good time for everyone. There will be juggling, unicycling, yo-yoing, hooping and all kinds of additional fun for all.  A juggling competition will be held on Saturday afternoon and there will be a Late Night Cabaret on Saturday night.

Atlanta Jewish Film Festival

Atlanta Jewish Film Festival

Various Metro Atlanta movie theaters. Wednesday – February 20th.  See website for specific times.  $11 for general admission.  Students and children $9.  Matinees $8.  Special events, such opening and closing night, have different price points.

The 22 Day Atlanta Jewish Film Festival begins on Wednesday.  The festival is the second largest Jewish Film Festival in the country, showing movies that educate and entertain about Jewish life.  Over 40 movies will be shown at six theaters in the Atlanta area, with the full schedule available on the AJFF website.

Fifth Annual Hollyfest

The Fifth Annual Hollyfest

Star Bar.  Saturday, 8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. $10. 21+.

Celebrate the music of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper at Star Bar this Saturday night.  15 different bands will perform the songs from the 50s legends that you know and love.

Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta

Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta – VIP with David Tutera

The Atlanta Convention Center at AmerciasMart. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  $50 for VIP advance admission.  Space is limited.

Celebrate your upcoming nuptials with champagne and celebrity wedding guru David Tutera! The VIP signature event includes an exclusive meet and greet with David, book signing and admission to the Bridal Extravaganza. Mr. Tutera will also give a special presentation- chock full of wedding ideas and advice.

Comic Convention

Atlanta Comic Convention

Marriott Hotel – Century Center. Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  $5.

Come get your fix of all things comic related at the Atlanta Comic Convention.  This one-day show features comic books and collectible dealers.  Several comic book creators will be there including C. Martin Croker, Stephanie Gladden and Bobby Nash.  Zombies from The Walking Dead will also be making an appearance.  There will be door prizes and you will receive a free t-shirt with admission (while supplies last).

Annual Bach Bowl

The Annual Bach Bowl

Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. Sunday, 4:00 p.m.  Free.

If you’re looking to get away from the crowds cheering the big game, come enjoy an afternoon of music at the Annual Bach Bowl. With performances by the Albrecht, the Ransoms, and the Vega String Quartet. Concertos for three and four keyboards will be performed at the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts.
