Working on my Promotional Fitness

So, it’s almost that time.  You know, New Years Resolutions, new gym memberships, no more rationalizing eating all the Christmas cookies because it’s that time of year.  Yup, 2013 is approaching and that’s the year that you are going to get into shape!  Right?  I have some suggestions for products that might help.

As I was looking through our promotional fitness accessories, I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites.  I managed to narrow it down to my four favorites and here they are:

Brookstone Active Fitness Belt

Yes, I guess you could technically say that the Brookstone Active Fitness Belt is a fanny pack.  But really, it’s so much more.  If you run outside, this item is really, really helpful.  You can keep your keys, your phone or iPod and some cash in the belt.  No more trying to stuff your items into that tiny little pocket that your running shorts has, or worse, into your shoe.

Seaside Promotional Sports Towel

Have you heard the term January Joiners?  It’s what people in the fitness industry call…wait for it…people who join the gym in January.  And if you’re a gym goer (or plan to be), you know that the gym can get pretty crowded after the first of the year.  With all those people comes a lot of germs.  A nice towel like the Seaside Promotional Sports Towel is great for wiping off the gym equipment or wiping the sweat off your brow.

Carry Me Everywhere Promotional Duffel Bag

While we’re on the topic of going to the gym, you’ve got to have a bag to put your gym clothes in, right?  Personally, I like to go to the gym immediately after I get off work in the evening.  Since I pack my gym clothes in the morning, I always put them in a duffel bag like the Carry-Me Everywhere Promotional Duffel Bag.  I also inevitably forget a shoe or a pair of socks or something, but that’s neither here nor there.  And trust me on the going straight to the gym after work thing (unless you can manage to get up early to work out, which I cannot), once you get home and sit down on the couch, it’s all over.

Promotional Fitness Body Tape Measure

The Promotional Fitness Body Tape Measure might seem like a funny item to be in the fitness accessory category, but really it’s perfect.  When you start to work out, especially if you introduce weight training into your regime, the scale does not always tell the total story.  You often hear that muscle weighs more than fat and that’s not entirely true.  I mean, 5 lbs is 5 lbs, whether it is in the form of muscle or fat.  But, muscle takes up less room than fat.  So if you are adding 5 lbs of muscle and subtracting 5 lbs of fat, the number on the scale might be the same as it always was but you will look different.  If you use a measuring tape, you’ll be able to see your results more clearly.
