Today makes one reflect on the reality that it truly does take a village to raise a child and through the Palmyra Foundation, we are happy to play our part as our children\u2019s keepers\u201d, commented Attorney Gordon Brown, one of the sponsors who helped distribute books at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pinnacle Promotions was happy to play our part by working with the Palmyra Foundation in creating the custom <a title=\"promotional cinch bags\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pinnaclepromotions.com\/custom-promotional-bags\/drawstring-bags-and-cinch-packs\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">promotional cinch bags<\/a> in which the books were distributed. Each child received their very own bag complete with a pack of crayons, a pencil, a 300 page BrainQuest Workbook and 2 or 3 Scholastic reading books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since it\u2019s beginning in 2007, the Palmyra Foundation has provided 72,000 books to 15,000 children in 80 schools across Jamaica totaling over $400,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Palmyra Foundation is hosting a big Fundraising Weekend at The Palmyra Resort &amp; Spa on November 5 and 6 of this year featuring a Friday beach concert and a Saturday Night Gala Dinner and Dance to raise funds for next year\u2019s book distribution.
