Pinnacle Promotions, a Leading Promotional Products Supplier, and Goizueta Business School Announce the Pinnacle Promotions Adopt a Scholar Award
Pinnacle Promotions has long encouraged their employees to become stronger leaders in the promotional products industry, providing ongoing education and promoting from within. Now, with the introduction of this new award, owners Mitch and Dave Weintraub have extended their leadership philosophy to entrepreneurial students at Emory University.
Atlanta, GA- Pinnacle Promotions, a leader in the promotional products industry, announces the Pinnacle Promotions Adopt a Scholar Award in partnership with Emory University's Goizueta Business School. The award is part of an annual scholarship gift from Pinnacle owners Mitch and Dave Weintraub, and will go to support a student with proven leadership skills and an entrepreneurial vision.
Mitch and Dave have always had entrepreneurial spirits; as Mitch neared the end of his M.B.A. program at Emory in 1994, the brothers founded their promotional products company with an innovative agency approach. Their unique approach to selling promotional products eliminated the industry's commission-based model, instead creating a vertically integrated company that offers everything from promotional products distribution to creative design and even web programming, all under one roof.
"My brother and I worked hard to turn our vision for an integrated approach to promotional products into a reality," said Mitch, CEO. "As a result, we want to give back to the Emory community in a way that will encourage leadership, inspire passion, and allow students to bring their ideas to fruition, as we were fortunate enough to be able to do."
According to Mitch, this year's winner, Joshua Booher exceeds these qualifications with his leadership experience at WMRE, Emory's radio station, and as the Vice President of Publicity for Synergy, an Emory Student Organization. Booher, who currently holds a 4.0 GPA, will graduate from the Goizueta Business School with a Bachelor of Business Administration in May 2012, earning concentrations in film and media management, marketing, and operations, as well.
Supporting Booher and other students with the Pinnacle Promotions Adopt a Scholar Award is the latest initiative in Pinnacle's long-standing commitment to the community. Previous philanthropic efforts from the promotional products supplier include: contributing to Oxfam International, donating promotional products to adults with developmental disabilities through the Annandale Village, and supporting the Georgia Association of Promotional Products Professionals annual fundraising campaign.
