Louisville Promotional Products

Louisville is the largest city in the state of Kentucky, so it's no surprise that this city has an abundance of Louisville promotional products. These items are used to advertise and promote the many sights and attractions in Jefferson County and the surrounding areas of Oldham County, Shelby County and just over the river in Indiana, Clark County. Many local souvenires are imprinted with Downtown Louisville's waterfront skyline, as well as their other iconic Louisville symbols of horses, Derby hats, and fleur-de-lys. As of 2008, the Louisville metropolitan area was estimated to have a population of 1.2 million. Louisville is rich with history and continues to grow and flourish because of its pleasant neighborhoods, local attractions and businesses, both large and small.

Major City Attractions in Louisville

Louisville's major attractions include Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville Slugger Museum, Muhammad Ali Center, and Downtown Louisville's revitalized Fourth Street Live all of which sell gifts emblazoned with their respective logos. These attractions have visitors and tourists from all over the world visiting Louisville and experiencing its classic, small-city charm. The first weekend in May, Churchill Downs plays host to over a hundred thousand fans that come to see the "greatest two minutes in sports", or the Kentucky Derby. Visitors can purchase Louisville souvenirs in the Churchill Downs' gift shop or the many kiosks around the track filled with hats, t-shirts, cups and tote bags. Another stop for many tourists is the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory where you can tour the factory where they produce the official bats for major league baseball, see the world's large bat and purchase official merchandise and personalized bats.

Saving Louisville Parks

In addition to the many attractions and sights throughout metro Louisville and Jefferson County, Louisville boasts over 120 parks including Seneca Park and Cherokee Park. These expansive green spaces located in the city are frequented by the active neighbors in the Highlands, St. Matthews, and Crescent Hill areas. It is a major goal of the community to preserve their parks and recreational areas for future Louisvillians to enjoy. Locals have started campaigns to save endangered parks and promote new dog parks in the area. By using products such as imprinted t-shirts, bumper stickers and logo pet products they have helped promote their organization and cause.

Cheer on the Louisville Home Team

Kentucky is the heart of basketball country and for Louisville the University of Louisville Cardinal's basketball team is royalty. University of Louisville is located just south of Downtown Louisville, but fans all over the city from St. Matthews and the Highlands to Indiana's Clark County come out to watch the Cards play at Freedom Hall. The arena is always filled with the color red with fans wearing their Cardinal apparel and waving everything from foam hands to promotional towels. In November 2010 the brand new KFC Yum! Center, Louisville's Downtown Arena will open and become the new home court for the Men's and Women's U of L Basketball teams. The new arena will have the capacity to seat 22,000 basketball fans and will also host many other sporting events, shows and concerts. With the new arena, as well as Fourth Street Live district, Louisville is expected to have hundreds of thousands of people frequenting Downtown Louisville each year, generating new revenue for Louisville Metro and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
