EarthSmart™ Grocery Bags
Pinnacle Promotions hands out reusable grocery bags to all employees to kick off their Earth Day activities.
ATLANTA, April 3, 2008 - Pinnacle Promotions handed out reusable polypropylene grocery bags to each employee this month to kick off a month long campaign to increase awareness of the company's EarthSmart™ initiatives.
"We believe that individuals and companies must do what they can to sustain our Earth's resources," said Green Committee member, Rob Lee who recommended purchasing the reusable bags. "By utilizing our reusable shopping totes, we are helping to reduce waste and conserve energy!"
In addition to the distribution of the reusable bags, Pinnacle Promotions™' Green Committee has also planned and sponsored several other events during the months of March and April. These events include a "Bring-Your-Own Bowl and Spoon" Ice Cream Social to be held on Earth Day, sponsorship and participation in Earth Hour on March 29, 2008 and participation in Earth Share of Georgia™'s Corporate Green Day Challenge on April 26, 2008.
"Our goal is to continually remind all Pinnacle employees of the importance of being EarthSmart™," said Rob Wellon, EarthSmart™ Brand Manager. "These great bags help to spread awareness of what we can do individually and as a company to benefit the environment."
