If the promise of the opportunity to taste over 100 varieties of homemade ice cream isn’t enough, take in live music, ice cream eating contests, children’s activities and more during Miss Mary’s 8th Annual Ice Cream Crankin’. All proceeds will go to benefit The Drake House.

Grant Park Summer Shade Festival

Grant Park Summer Shade Festival

Grant Park. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.; Sunday 11:00 a.m – 7:30 p.m.  Free. Corks & Forks $30 each day or $55 for both days.

The Grant Park Summer Shade Festival is back for the 10th year.  Enjoy a vibrant artist market and live music in tree-lined Grant Park.  In addition, foodies can head over to the tented pavilion to sample food and wine from some of Atlanta’s most popular restaurants as part of the Corks & Forks festival.

German Bierfest

Woodruff Park. Saturday, 2:00 p.m.. – 7:00 p.m. $35 online; $40 at the door; children are free.

Bask in all things German at the 9th Annual Bierfest.  Enjoy great food, music and of course authentic German brews.  All ages are welcome; there will be activities for the kids, no pets please.
