Promotional products to beat the summer heat

Hopefully most of you made it through the 4th of July holiday safely. Luckily it wasn’t too terribly hot here in Atlanta, but I have been reading in the news about the terrible heat wave hitting the Northeast. They sure could use some cooling promotional products such as the personal mister fan or even just a really large promotional water bottle. The summer months bring our industry some of the most fun and creative promotional products of the year. With so many companies holding outdoor events there is nothing better than having not only fun, but functional promotional products to help us keep our cool.

Promotional Products Keep Vacationers Cool

Weaving my way through the Chicago airport last night, I couldn’t help but notice the many promotional products around me. Airport employees dressed in TSA branded logo apparel shepherded passengers through security lines. Travelers wheeled rolling bags imprinted with company logos while carrying custom plastic bags filled to the brim with local goodies and souvenirs. I could end this blog post right here and leave you with a lesson about the omnipresence of promotional products but I want to highlight the branded item that made my day, as a nervous traveler returning home after a long weekend.

True Blood season 3 premiere. Where are my fangs?

I am a huge, huge fan of the HBO original series True Blood. The third season premieres this weekend and I almost can’t contain my excitement. Due to the popularity of the show, I have seen an increase in logo apparel and promotional products in the retail market.  I have even been tempted to purchase a custom promotional t-shirt modeled after what the main character, Sookie, wears at her waitress job at Merlotte’s. Stressed? Find relaxation in promotional products

The weather is getting warmer, the days are longer and what does that mean for most of us? Vacation? Not so much, I think many Americans want to get in vacation mode, but tend to take on more with the days being longer, which can lead to stress. Take Steps, Be Heard…And Get Promotional Products


Yesterday co-blogger Sarah and I participated in the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) “Take Steps Walk,” at Centennial Olympic Park joining thousands of others at over 100 Walk sites that will gather across the country this spring and summer in the fight against Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

The walk was not short of supporters – and of course promotional products.  (See Sarah and I sporting our promotional gear at the walk below.)

Promotional products for baseball season

Take me out to the ballgame, take me out to the crowd. It is just getting full swing into baseball season and what could go better with your pretzel and beer than a promotional products giveaway at the field. I am planning to attend this Sunday’s game of the Atlanta Braves against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Both teams are having a pretty bad season so far, but our Braves are coming off of a three game winning streak, so perhaps they can ride the momentum through this series to regain some confidence. It is always more fun when your team wins, but I enjoy myself win or lose. I tend to get more excited about catching a home run ball or getting the promotional products swag they give out to fans before the games. I even have a miniature promotional baseball bat, that is probably one of the best promotional product giveaways I have ever gotten at a baseball game.

Buy Cute Promotional T-Shirts to Help Nashville Flood Victims

As I mentioned in a Nashville themed blog post last November, Nashville, Tennessee is one of my all-time favorite cities. While I only spent a short period of time there, I was devastated to hear about the floods that swept through the vibrant city. My heart goes out to all of the victims, but especially to my friend Jamie’s grandparents, who have temporarily relocated to her house in Atlanta while their house is repaired.
